Jeg har testet ut en del av de nye TV-seriene som har startet denne høsten i USA. Har jeg for lite å gjøre på eller har jeg for lite å gjøre på? 
Flash Gordon
This new series brings the famed comic strip character to the small screen for a contemporary look at his intergalactic adventures. Look for beloved characters like Ming, Dale Arden, and Dr. Hans Zarkov!
Fikk jallapreg, men ville gi den mer enn én sjanse. Så jeg ga den 2,1 sjanser. I begynnelsen av episode 3 fant jeg ut at den ikke ga meg noen ting, og synes ikke at det hadde noe potensiale heller. Sorry, Eric Johnson (spilte Whitney Fordman a.k.a. Lanas kjæreste i sesong 1 av Smallville). Terningkast 2.
American Body Shop
American Body Shop is centered around the twice-divorced shop owner Sam and his troubled crew. Among his staff Sam has a set of mechanics and auto workers that develop complex solutions to simple problems, as well as many other strange characters.
Huff, satte av etter 4 minutter. For noe dritt… “Pimp My Ride”-wannabe i “vanlig” TV-serie-format, og jeg liker ikke PMR en gang. Terningkast 1. Skulle gitt 0 om det fantes.
Back To You
Back to You is a traditional live-audience sitcom starring sitcom veterans Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier) and Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) as co-news anchors who reunite at a Pittsburgh television station after they worked together previously in the ’90s. Chuck Darling (Kelsey Grammer) is a bit of a womanizer and moved on from Pittsburgh to a large market but his career took a large hit after a terrible on-screen blunder. In the managers’ attempt to bring the Pittsburgh newscast back to #1, Chuck Darling makes his return with his former co-anchor Kelly Carr.
Nja, middels… Morsomme momenter og kult at Kelsey Grammar og Patricia Heaton er i samme serie. Gir den noen sjanser til.
Etter 3 eps: OK, nå har den fått nok sjanser. Den blir litt småteit og er ikke noe jeg kommer til å følge med på. Terningkast 3.
Californication
David Duchovny heads up the cast in this comedy about a novelist with sex and drug addictions who is struggling to raise his daughter half the time, while having problems with his ex-girlfriend.
Ehm, dette ble bare rart… Det var jo mykporno dette her. Nei takk, sier jeg. Terningkast 2.
Anchorwoman
Billed as a comedy/reality hybrid, this offering from Fox takes a look into the life of buxom blonde Lauren Jones as she moves from LA to Tyler, Texas in an effort to transform herself from swimsuit model to news anchor of KYTX Channel 19. The Tyler news station’s manager wants her to help turnaround his dismal ratings. But the current anchor/queen bee wants her to disappear. Find out if this blonde bombshell and former Miss New York can make it as a serious reporter.
Æsj, hva er dette her? Comedy/Reality? Ikke hva jeg forventet i det hele tatt, og det sugde. Jeg orket _nesten_ en halv episode. Terningkast 1.
Saving Grace
Academy Award winner Holly Hunter, making her television series debut, stars in this TNT drama series about a police detective with an emotional crisis living in Oklahoma City. A respected officer, Grace Hanadarko can’t seem to run her personal life with the same sort of finesse she has in the field. Can a unlikely divine stranger influence her to get her life back on track?
Noe englegreier. 10 minutter av første episode, og så var det på ræva ut for denne serien. Den syntes å holde høy kvalitet, men ikke noe for meg. Terningkast 3.
Aliens In America
A Wisconsin mom arranges to host a foreign exchange student, believing the visitor will help her shy son become more popular. When the student turns out to be a Muslim teenager from Pakistan, her plans go awry – and everyone is likely to learn a little lesson about life.
Den var egentlig middels, men den hadde noe spesielt som jeg likte. Jeg gir den flere sjanser, jeg. 
Etter tre episoder sier jeg at det ble litt slitsom humor, så jeg gidder ikke å følge med på den. Terningkast 3.
Big Shots
Big Shots is a drama from Warner Brothers Television and ABC about four friends who are up and coming executives.
James is played by Michael Vartan and is the “moral center” of the group. He’s married to Stacey, and they’ve been together since freshman year in college, but their marriage is in trouble. He just found out she was having an affair with his late boss. He relies on his “work wife”, Katie, played by Nia Long, to keep him focused in the office.
Dylan McDermott plays Duncan Collinsworth. a cosmetics CEO. He’s divorced from Lisbeth, played by Paige Turco, but things aren’t completely over. Even though he still seems interested, she knows if she took him back he’d lose interest immediately. They have a 19 year old daughter Cameron (Peyton List), who resents her father for walking out on them.
Christopher Titus plays Brody, a married graduate of Harvard Business School, who spends more time trying to make his wife happy than running his business.
Joshua Malina plays Karl. He’s married to Wendy, played by Amy Sloan. They are seeing a marriage counselor, but he has a secret mistress on the side, Marla, played by Jessica Collins. What is he going to do when Marla and Wendy become friends?
More than business associates, these four men are best friends who will be there for each other no matter what.
Joda, grei nok for de som liker slikt. Litt “Desperate Housewife”-vibber over det, bare med menn. Så jeg gidder ikke å se mer av den. Terninkast 3.
Bionic Woman
Jaime Sommers is nothing but a hard-working woman juggling work as a bartender, the responsibility for the care of her younger sister, Becca, and her relationship with her boyfriend, Will. Although she does not have much, Jaime has always enjoyed being as normal as any other human being. However, this all changes when she is hit by a car and seriously injured. Her only hope becomes an experimental and top secret procedure, but, as Jaime soon discovers, this salvation comes at a high price.
Hm… Middels… Men jeg liker at de får krefter, så jeg gir den flere sjanser.
4 eps: Krefter og krefter… Ikke krefter nok. Synes den falt litt gjennom og glimret ikke. Terningkast 3.
Blood Ties
Based on the novels by Tanya Huff, this show revolves around PI Vicki Nelson – formerly a detective with the Metropolitan Toronto Police. She was losing her sight, but quit the force rather than accept a desk job. However, her last case turns out to be a doozy, involving vampires and the supernatural. She decides to team up with a vampire named Henry and ex-lover Mike Celluci to battle the forces of evil both normal and paranormal.
Hmmm… Interessant! Vampyrer og slikt liker vi, og det virket som en grei serie. Denne får glatt flere sjanser. Terninkast 5.
Chuck
Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect) plays Chuck, a nerdy computer tech who has a database of government secrets downloaded into his brain. Chuck soon finds himself recruited by John Casey (Adam Baldwin of Day Break), a veteran NSA Agent, for espionage work with his new partner (and first date in ten years) Sarah (Yvonne Strzechowski) — leading Chuck to live a split life of computer geek and secret NSA missions.
LOL! En fin snert. Original idé. Jeg gir den absolutt flere sjanser.
Etter 9 eps: Fytti, denne er verdt å se. Finfin serie. Terningkast 6.
Journeyman
Kevin McKidd (Rome) stars as Dan Vassar in this new series from NBC set to air in the fall of 2007. Dan is happily married with a son. It seems like he has everything going for him. Dan ends up traveling into the past. He changes people’s lives, sometimes for the better, but sometimes not. During his travels he meets up with Livia Beale, he was engaged to her when she died in a plane crash. Knowing the future he has a chance to save her but how will that change his own future?
Spennende. Lurer på hva denne serien har å by på, så jeg gir den flere sjanser.
Etter 4 eps: Fortsatt grei nok, men venter på at den skal ta av. Den får noen sjanser til. Terningkast 4.
Etter 6 eps: Hvorfor tar den ikke av? Nei, nå gidder jeg ikke å vente lenger. 6 episoder burde vært mer enn nok til å løftet historien enda mer.
Moonlight
Moonlight follows Mick St. John, an immortal vampire and private investigator and his struggle to exist after he was bitten 60 years ago by his vampire bride, Coraline, on their wedding night. It also follows his internal torment as he falls in love with one he should not, one who is mortal named Beth, a news reporter, as well as his dealings with the woman who made him a vampire, his sire Coraline. While, Josef plays Mick’s immortal mentor.
Enda en vampyrserie, og enda en serie på følge-med-på-lista-mi. Liker denne litt bedre enn Blood Ties, for her er vampyren snill. Terningkast 5.
Reaper
Throughout Sam’s life, he always wondered why his mom and dad were so easy on him. Whether it was sports, school, career choices, or picking on his little brother Kyle, Sam always got away with everything. Because of it, he decided to drop out of college and take a dead beat job, wasting most of his time playing video games and wishing he could ask his co-worker Andi out. However, everything changes in Sam’s life once he turns 21 and finds out the reason his parents let him get over was because they sold his soul to the devil before he was born.
Satan explains to Sam that he must serve as his bounty hunter, tracking down souls that have escaped from Hell. Initially, Sam refuses to accept his fate but he realizes the grave consequences of breaking a deal with the devil. He is armed with various vessels to collect the escapees. Sam finds that the work is dangerous and frightening even with the goof ball help of his friends and fellow slackers Sock and Ben, and Sock’s former girlfriend, Josie. As bizarre as his life becomes, Sam feels good about his newfound “missions”, removing evil souls from the world and sending them back to where they belong. Along with his friends and his vessel of the week, Sam prepares to face his destiny as the “reaper”.

The Big Bang Theory
a sitcom that shows what happens when hyperintelligent roommates/physicists Sheldon and Leonard meet Penny, a beautiful woman moving in next door–and realize they know next to nothing about life outside of the lab. Rounding out the crew are the smarmy Wolowitz, who thinks he’s as sexy as he is brainy, and Koothrappali, who suffers from an inability to speak in the presence of a woman.
The show distinguishes itself by being unafraid to toss scientific references and technobabble into an otherwise standard sitcom, even employing a physicist to keep things accurate. In doing so, it allows Sheldon and Leonard to do for science what Frasier’s Crane brothers did for fine dining, art, and opera.
Nerdehumor! Hehe, det får selvfølgelig flere sjanser. Selv om det bare var middels… Jeg er litt streng når det gjelder komiserier… Terningkast 4.

Cavemen
Cavemen revolves around Joel, his younger brother Andy and best friend Nick. Joel is engaged to Kate. Even though he has some problems with her conservative parents accepting him, he is happy with his life and pursuing the American Dream. The pilot is based on the Geico commercials that claim their service is so easy, “Even a caveman can do it”.
Ehm… Denne ble snodig… Ikke snodig på en interessant måte, men snodig på en teit måte. Ut av lista mi. Terningkast 2.
Pushing Daisies
This romantic drama shows us the strange world of a man, Ned, who can bring dead people back to life through the power of his touch. The people he touches, however, can only stay alive for one minute, and if they don’t die again, someone else nearby will die. Ned decides to use his ability to solve crime. He and a local investigator, Emerson, bring murder victims back to life and find out who killed them, to cash in on case-solving rewards. But, when Ned brings an old crush back to life, and decides to let her live, things start to get complicated…
Hm… Interessant. Gir den flere sjanser og ser hvor den er på vei.
3 eps: Absolutt spesiell serie. Kul dekor og slikt. Minner meg litt om Charlie og Sjokoladefabrikken eller noe. Men den ble veldig, veldig snodig… Og den fortellerstemmen minte meg bare om Desperate Housewives, og den raske snakkingen til tider blir for slitsom. Nok sjanser. Terningkast 3.
Carpoolers
This new comedy follows four typical suburban men named Laird, a recently divorced dentist and self proclaimed playboy; Aubrey, who is the sole provider for his family, especially for his wife who is a couch potato; Gracen, a professional mediator, who is all about traditional values and is married to Leila, who is a house flipper; and Dougie, who is the new guy to the group and just married Cindy, as they rant about life, family, money and work as they all carpool to work.
Nja… Middels… En sjanse til, kanskje.
Etter 6 eps: Jeg er fortsatt i tvil om jeg skal følge med på dette… Den er grei nok, men ikke mer. Terningkast 4.
Meadowlands
Danny (David Morrissey) and Evelyn Brogan (Lucy Cohu) along with their two teenaged kids pack up the family and move to the bucolic neighborhood of Meadowlands as they enter a witness protection program in an attempt to escape their past. The picturesque and crime-free suburban paradise at first seems to be the perfect locale to start their new life, but the Brogans soon realize that escaping the past will prove to be much harder than they expected.
I don’t think so… Den ga meg såpass lite at jeg tror ikke jeg gir den en sjanse til. Kul idé med byen, men den viste mye mindre potensiale enn den kunne hatt. Terningkast 2.
Samantha Who?
This single-camera comedy introduces us to Samantha “Sam” Newly (played by Christina Applegate), a psychiatrist and hit-and-run victim who awakens after being in a coma for eight days, only to find she has amnesia. With no memories of the past, she must rediscover everything about her life and herself by looking for clues from her past. Sam discovers that she wasn’t a very nice person to most people and she is determined to change that. She also discovers that she cheated on her boyfriend Todd (played by Barry Watson) with a married man. Sam attempts to live with Todd after the accident, but soon realizes it won’t work and has no other choice but to move back home with her parents. Sam even learns that her “accident” was no accident at all, but a failed attempt at someone trying to kill her, but who? Slowly but surely little parts of her start to emerge to the delight of some and to the shock of others. Will she change or will she act like she did before her amnesia?
The people that Sam has to rely on aren’t all what they appear to be. Sam leans on her parents after she awakens, but has no idea that she hasn’t spoken to them in over two years. Sam thinks that Dena is her best friend, but Andrea, her real best friend, lets in be known that Sam and Dena haven’t even spoken to each other since the seventh grade. Andrea on the other hand is hiding a lot of Sam’s wild past from her, which could be disastorous. And then there is Frank, the door man at Todd’s apartment. Up until the accident, Sam had never spoken a word to him, but one days ends up saying hi to him and is shocked to learn how observant he is.
Den trengte litt tid til å komme i gang, så jeg må gi den flere sjanser. Den virket så som så, så dette kan lett gå begge veiene. Enn så lenge (6 eps) så får den lov til å være på lista mi. Terningkast 5.
Womens Murder Club
Based on the best-selling series of books by James Patterson, Women’s Murder Club tells the story of four friends from different walks of life who come together to form a unique murder investigation team. Their jobs as a homicide detective, a medical examiner, a newspaper reporter and an assistant district attorney give them a formidable range of skills, and their strong friendship provides the basis for the teamwork that’s necessary to crack each case.
Litt for tørt og kjedelig. Ikke helt min smak, men gir den en sjanse til.
2 eps: nope, fortsatt tørt og kjedelig og uten snert. De prøver å komme med noen morsomme kommentarer, men de faller helt gjennom. Terningkast 2.
Joda, jeg er enig i at første sesong var FANTASTISK og så dalte det godt nedover… Men special powers og sånt, og jeg er som regel solgt.
